Here’s What Makes Us Different
The Mission
What makes us different is that we offer great customer service. While that does sound generic, it truly is what makes us better than the competition. We offer old school business mentality mixed with modern strategy applications. Additionally we include Heat Treated pallets and amazingly fast turn around times. We are the only ones in the Portland area that checks all these boxes.
We are also never afraid to say no to small orders, which saves our clients money in space fees. Our competition doesn’t offer that option, therefore causing their customers to pay massive amounts of storage fees that our clients never have to worry about.

From Modest Beginnings to Pallet President
Derek began in the pallet industry 22 years ago with humble beginnings on the warehouse floor. Proving to be an ambitious and hard working individual, he became foreman of mid sized pallet business and eventually went into outside sales. He was able to learn every aspect of the pallet industry. Working at various large lumber and pallet companies, he decided to take a different approach and began Pallets Northwest in 2008. By becoming a small business owner, he was now able to provide the personalized customer service standards that he was always wanted.

He was able to learn every aspect of the pallet industry. Working at various large lumber and pallet companies, he decided to take a different approach and began Pallets Northwest in 2008. By becoming a small business owner, he was now able to provide the personalized customer service approach that he was always wanted.
